Pooh's Adventures Series: Not Quite a RantI don't know how many of you people have heard of the Pooh's Adventures series on YouTube, but I figured I ought to throw my two cents in while it's fresh on my mind. I'm not talking about the cartoon series that ran on Disney Channel (The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh), but this does involve it. What Pooh's Adventures is, typically, is the Pooh cast going on an adventure through another movie, like the Great Mouse Detective, An American Tail, the Pokemon movies, etc. I used to think this concept was a neat little idea, but now that I've been dabbling in making videos myself, I find it less than appealing to me these days. You could call it a 'crossover' series, since it has Pooh and friends 'interacting' with the surroundings, providing assistance to the characters and dialogue, but from a more critical viewpoint, I just can't find myself liking it.The 'dialogue' from Pooh and friends, or from characters when it's not in the original script, involves muted clips with subtitles. I put a lot of thought into my characters and stories, and I have been doing so for years. I don't share my stuff online though, it's too scatty and constantly changing, plus this account is purely for parody art and ranty commentary.
